Join us for Starwood’s Run to Give charity run, held in different locations throughout Asia Pacific to raise funds for various local charities. Last year, Starwood Asia Pacific raised close to USD 343,000 for our inaugural run, and this year, we look forward to help even more charities.

So lace up and start making a difference by signing up for our run!

Started in 2014 as Hotel Charity Run, the event saw an overwhelming response of 19,000 runners in 92 location taking part across Asia Pacific. Subsequently in 2015, we managed to have an increased response of 28,000 runners across in 111 locations. Associates from Starwood hotels all over the region organized these runs to raise funds for the local charity in which their hotels operated in.

In 2015, an internal contest was held throughout the month of March in search of an official event name. Chosen from over 500 naming entries, ‘Run to Give’ – submitted by an associate from Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort, stood out for its originality, catchiness and relevance to the spirit of our Starwood charity run.

The ‘Run to Give’ logo features multiple runner silhouettes that signify teamwork and togetherness, and also represent the Starwood Journey of belonging to something bigger, a strong focus on Global Citizenship. This run is also an initiative of Together As One, Starwood’s annual global volunteer campaign, where each hotel and office recognizes associates, creates positive action in the community and highlights how volunteerism efforts have made and will continue to make a difference in their communities.
